أعلنت هيئة الطيران المدني السعودي، أنها تسلمت قائمة محظورات أميركية، تشمل تفتيش «مؤخرات» الركاب.
وذكرت في بيان امس، أنها تسلمت من واشنطن، محظورات جديدة، ضمن 14 دولة من المفترض تطبيقها على الراغبين في السفر الى الولايات المتحدة، بما فيها تفتيش مؤخرة الراكب.
وجاء في حيثيات التعميم الصادر، أن السلطات الأميركية تنوي تفتيش «مؤخرة الراكب»، ويشمل القرار السعودية والجزائر ولبنان وليبيا والعراق ونيجيريا وباكستان والسودان وافغانستان والصومال وسورية واليمن وإيران وكوبا.
وتشمل المحظورات أيضاً، المنع من دخول دورات المياه للركاب المنتمين لهذه الدول قبل ساعة من وصول الرحلة إلى أي من المطارات الأميركية، مع منعهم من تغطية أجسامهم بالبطانيات خلال الرحلة. كما تقضي بضرورة خضوع المسافرين لعمليات التفتيش العشوائي اليدوي الذي يشمل مؤخرة الراكب والمناطق الحساسة في جسده، وتحظر على قادة الطائرات إبلاغ الركاب عن معالم المدن الأميركية أو تحديد موقع الطائرة أو تحديد اتجاه قبلة الصلاة مع مراقبة أي راكب يذهب إلى دورة المياه خلال فترة الإقلاع أكثر من مرة ومنع دخول السوائل بشكل مطلق إلى الطائرة.
كما تتضمن إجراءات التفتيش استخدام أجهزة إشعاعية تظهر جسد المسافر عاريا مع إضافة مراقبين أمنيين إلى صالات الطيران لمراقبة تحركات الركاب ومراقبة المناطق الخفية في المطار، خصوصا دورات المياه.

Kuwait will be next up on that list in the future.
The only reason why it is currently not on the list (along with the Emirates, Bahrain, Egypt, and some others) is due to two reasons:
- Our governments’ complete alliance (and compliance) with the United States.
- Our public have not yet risen to the “terrorist profile” that the United States employs to gauge potential threat.
Saudi Arabia’s case, however, is different. Despite the obeying nature of the Saudi government towards Washington, the Saudi public still faces harsher (or rather humiliating) procedures as mentioned above.
This is due to Saudi Arabia’s all-out brutality and humility of its own public. If you dehumanize your own public you allow others to do so as well. Washington sees that and acts accordingly. Saudi’s are immensely repressed by their bastard of a government, which is protected by the US Army; such irony.
Ali, the United Arab Emirates was the only Arab country that has had the integrity of employing an “eye for an eye” level of protective procedures in airports, so to speak, as a retaliation of how their citizens were being received here in the US. Other governments must be pushed (by their public) into doing the same thing.
It’s a beautiful dog-eat-dog world out there within the international community. And it is the people who always pay the price.

It’s all part of the ongoing procedures as deterrents to “undesirable” tourists/students/residents within the United States. The same goes for the arduous and debilitating visa-related matters in respect to international students. It’s all legal, mind you; every state has complete sovereignty over its land. However, we must ensure that our governments ensure the same thing in terms of preserving our integrity abroad.
It’s the people who get shafted when governments screw them over.

ali, its not an eye for an eye thing … what threat to they pose to us? There is some reason for them being scared from certain nationalities, but still this is beyond ridiculous.
Anonymous Farmer, totally agree in most of what you say there except I dont think Kuwait will be on that list. We don’t have the oppression that most of these other countries face, and for some reason I thikn we are going in a positive direction … dont ask me why or how its just a feeling.
