Since I have a Wataniya line, I did the backup thing they have on offer, which was excellent! All my numbers on the phone were backed up AND updated with the new number in less than 5 mins.

For Wataniya send “backup” to 1618 and a few clicks later you will have the new numbers. It’s FREE. Unfortunately Wataniya’s website isn’t the most user friendly and I can’t find a way to fine the information unless I log in my own username.

As for Zain, their website doesn’t even open for me (very predictable considering how everything seems to have been going downhill for Zain in terms of service). I did find out from a friend that the same service is offered by Zain through sending “b” to 99509, and the cost is 1.5KD.
