الكل شاف شعار شركة الاتصالات الجديدة VIVA بحملتهم الكبيرة بالشوارع و الجرائد
شعارهم عبارة عن شعار الاتصالات السعودية مع تغيير الإسم –

VIVA Logo (مملوكة بنسبة 26% من الاتصالات السعودية)

و أيضا شركة AXIS في إندونيسيا تشاركهم نفس الشعار كون الاتصالات السعودية تملك 51% من الشركة

الحملة ككل ما عجبتني ما فيها ابداع أبدا و جدا بسيطة و ما في أي شي يميزها … يعني ما كانت تكون مفاجأة لو طلعت دعاية زيت ذرة أو معرض أو شامبو!
و أيضا عندي مشكلة مع الإسم …. VIVA حلو و خفيف و معناه جميل ( alive or life or الحياة ) لكن في الترجمة صعبة جدا! اليوم بالجرائد كان اسمها فيفا و قريتها بمكان ثاني بالـ “ﭫ” … و المشكلة مرتين الحرف! ما أفهم ليش شركة عالمية داخلة السوق الكويتي تختار اسم ممكن يكون صعب بلغة البلد!

و على كل تحلطمي فوق على الحملة و الاسم إلا اني أتمنى أن الشركة تنجح بكسر احتكار الاسعار و الخدمات البدائية اللي عندنا بالكويت مقارنة بدول مجاورة.

I like the logo honestly, and I also love the name. I did not notice however in Arabic it does read as FIFA! That’s gonna be confusing, but also catchy

I second Bashar… I actually like the logo very much and the name is really nice but come to think about how you pronounce it in Arabic… and then using a very non arabic word with arabic standards! I dont know! But since day one of their teasers I knew it was gonna be for the new telecom company! It was very predictable to me

the only thing i liked was the name.
please excuse my french but i have never seen such an atrocious launch campaign in my entire life. this is leo burnett’s baby and i am SO sure that they’ve been working their butts off to have a kick ass campaign. i don’t give a flyin’ hoot about how much client involvement there was while they were working on this campaign; it doesn’t excuse having shit as the result.
i blush in shame when i even think of the launch. what kind of bullshit execution is this? looks like it was dragged from the 1980’s and even if it was done then it would’ve been considered mediocre. what a disappointment. i wonder who’s going to squeeze this pile of crap in his/her portfolio.

I say this every time a blogger criticizes a major brand launch, and will say it again …
Identities are not meant to be Pretty or Attractive. Their success is measured by the public interest & the recognition of the brand name/visuals. You posting about it proves its success.

uturn, I disagree. This launch is the first impression the potential clients get with the company. I think the logo is not bad, but the campaign itself looked amazingly cheap!! They couldnt have made it cheaper if they tried.
Now I will always associate the company with being 2nd rate, ya3ny something like “soog almu3alim” compared to Zain’s launch which was so professional and well designed and gives off the impression of being world class top of the line kind of thing. Zain’s logo i hate but the launch made me feel the company is a global company that is serious! Viva looks like a 7ukooma 7amla maalat kahraba or child safety or whatever.

Viva Logo is really elegant..
I dont know the expansion or meaning of VIVA.. But, I wish that to be “Very Important Voice Alliance” ..!!

I think its a good name if they are trying to promote their products and services is Nevada State! “VIVA Las Vegas”
the colours also kind of feminine, why pink and purple ?

Screw it, I am not good with moving stuff, just put the A on top of the two V’s and the I using any paint program and you will see what I see!!
