Every font is unique too. The layout they use is modern and is the least you can expect in this day and age in terms of readability and clarity (although al Jareda tops all in the layout) and so if it looks similar, thats because its the standard in modern newspapers. It is so unoriginal. You will find it repeated in one form or another in most of the older Kuwaiti newspaper logos. It looks like something that might have been added at the end 'after' the original design was completed. Aljarida is very very well done.
