الأحمر كان يعبر … بس الأسود دارج
هل لهذه الحملة علاقة بالإسم الجديد للشركة؟ أو بالشعار الجديد؟
زين = أسود؟
أو حملة لمنتج جديد نفس حملة الإيغو؟
They had the teaser ads for e-GO, which were basically the % completed of something we don’t know. I thought then that it was something about them being nearly done with their rebranding (which is massively delayed btw).
If this ends up being another teaser ad for a product, I will be disappointed and when they finally want to announce their big big news and start with teaser ads, it will be like the boy who cried wolf! Not everything deserves a teaser ad in my opinion. They should be used to a certain extent, using them too often just kills the whole appeal of teaser ads!
Then again, lets just hope its actually about their rebranding, if it is, I like the ad.
I like how this ad makes you think about the possibilities! ![]()

I think its the new logo called ZEN - I miht be mistaken.
Thing that depresses me about Kuwait is everything is marketing, not about product or technology. They always rehash something - usually a former product - under a new name and try to sell it as a something innovative.
I am very dissapointed with Kuwait, we are lagging behind most Gulf states now that routinely offer ‘push to talk’, 3.5 G and better ADSL and more competitive services.
I’m tired of marketing in Kuwait. The marketeer in Kuwait is akin to a snake oil salesman.

As they said, it’s the Blackberry. It’s a strong hit in the market. Smart move.

Black as in Blackout in our services
May 20th, 2007 at 7:52 pm
lol yeah its a teaser for the upcoming power blackouts.
May 20th, 2007 at 8:10 pm
OK, apparently it IS the new Blackberry service.
That means that MTC have come up with ANOTHER teaser ad for a new product ….
A teaser ad for every product just kills the whole concept of a teaser ad!!
Thats just what I think, id love to know what you guys think about having teaser ads this frequently!

Well if I recall correctly in the past 2 years MTC have only used 1 teaser ad before and that was for ego, this is their second so really its not that frequent.

BLACKBERRY….
May 21st, 2007 at 9:26 am
The irony is that it ran in tandem with the SMS “BLACKOUT” against blogs writing about Ali Al-Khaleefa (major shareholder)
Blackberry could be it though

i asked a friend at mtc what this campaign was all about.. and the answer came in the form of another riddle: it is something that techies would love.. and non techies would think is a name of a fruit! i guess this confirms what people suggested here..

Like everybody else is saying its the blackberry .. launching May 28th. Saad Al-Barrak has been using one recently; they were just waiting for the new ones to be released so they can launch the service.
