Ghiras have done many public awareness campaigns regarding smoking, drugs, child abuse, and so on, and most of them have actually been good, unlike Rekaaz’s campaigns which try to teach us how to raise our children and how we should make our morals just like theirs, and nothing towards helping Kuwait or the society in general! Rekaaz is basically a propaganda machine created purely to raise the profile to Mohammed AlAwathi and push his views!
Anyway, the reason I mention Ghiras is that I was checking up their website in English and they need to check their translations. It looks like they went to someone like these guys, and went for exact literal tranlations instead of the meaning of the campaigns -

Tarzan make translate.

seems like you allergy from anything Islamic , 9ij Libraly lol
the easiest thing is to cretiseise something , and their campaign is successful , o the biggest proof look at the crowds of people who attend their lectures in malls and so places.
they have more attendance than all the liberal lectures , all what liberals do is talk about the Destoor and freedoms o tefelsef ..
wallah el destoor mara7 ydakhlek el jannah wala ra7 yfeedik .. khalna ma3a hal tarzan campaigns o Mohamed Alawathy abrak men ” Nabeeha 5 ” campaign

Hobby is protection? Is it just my twisted mind that sees a rather dangerous message here? Yeah probably

“Tarzan make translate.”
Dying laughing. And yes, you can understand that they MEAN well, they just need a little refinement!

I find their graphics extremely disturbing as well. So basic, so lame.
And yeah, the translation thing..we’re used to it.

lol @ tarzan make translate, and at The Don’s quote
However, dear Q.. as simple as the ppl here — the intended audience, I believe, will understand these bad translations better than understanding a deep meaningful phrase. Or maybe not.. hehe.
