AC,
may9eer tit7ajab dakhil il majlis to please people may3arfoon ildeen, shino ya3ni, talbisa dakhil oo bara tif9akha, yaboon-ha itge9 3alaihom aw 3ala rab-hom mathalan?
Oo ba3dain lets be honest, any righteous religious man would not be in politics to begin with, not the way they are! Oo ba3dain gabil kilshay il deen mo3amala, these barbarians dont know the first thing about mo3amala aw i7tiram. il awal ilmafrooth ey7ajboon ilsan-hom, solok-hom, oo their morals/ethics, ba3dain khal yitfalsifon oo ask her ina she wears the 7jab. A scarf on the head is in no way an indication of a woman’s capability, nor will it contribute to her fulfilling her job effectively.
Oo ba3dain there are hundreds of rules, regulations, laws, etc that are not being implemented and are MUUCH more important that wearing a headscarf in the majlis! Min mita these people follow the rules 3ashan ey9eroon at this stupid useless so-called “rule”?
I’m so happy and proud that she stuck to what SHE believes in the best way anyone could have possibly did. The way she was and they way they were gives you an indication of how respectable they are. Boramya and his buddies, showed all of us just how much they respect their fellow nowab, how much they respect our parliment, how much they respect their people’s choice, and most importantly how much they respect themselves. They certainly showed me they had zero respect for all those areas, I can’t respect someone who isn’t man enough to respect everything he stands for including himself! He only proved that women are more capable of doing their job respectfully than he is.
Sorry this was long, bs I always get hyped up on women’s rights =P

dishevelled,
Let’s take it step by step M’kay ?
Nevermind the rest of the MP’s, Noureya khathat 7eqooqha el seyaseya, aw bel a7ra all women, eb shar6 ena yeltazmoon bel thawabe6 el shar3eya. ya3ne hatha shar6, basically, without agreeing to this shar6 they may have not gotten their political rights. So, in order to prove themselves worhty .. they should commit to what they agreed to, am I right ? mo ga3ed agol lebsee 3ashanhom, la 6ab3an el wa7da etha tabe tet7ajab 7ag rab’ha mo 7ag majles omma. Laken, she has to obide by the rules that got her the position.
Now what I am saying is quite reasonable I know, but how about you do you agree ?

etha kan fee qanoon egool enna el mara lazem talbes e7jab dakhel el majles, fa lazem hal qanoon yen7ethef, khan gool mathalan enna fee ensan kuwaiti sawa kelshay yegdar esawi 7ag deerta, o nezal el entekhabat, o faz, o kan hatha el ensan mo muslim, fa mala 7aq enna edesh elmajles le2anna mo muslim? hathi mo 7oreya wala man6eq, nafs el shay bel nesba lil mara, privacy is called privacy for a reason, and our religions and beliefs are our privacy that no one has the right to invade or change, we were born free and the only one to judge us is god, not some dude that covers his sins with his talk about faith and religion.

THE[M]CODE
your argument is void, the decree was passed with all parties agreeing on it, nevermind it’s stupdity, it was agreed upon therefore, she should commit to what the law tells her. This is blasphemous I say ;p.

AC,
What about the rules of not buying your way into the Parliment? Shall we recall the incidents that happened last June? A video was released of a certain member selling his voice, or another very powerful person who had different families of his businesses in houses so they could add up to his vote? What about the people who went to object in front of the maghfar but were only allowed to file 7 complaints!? What about the qatheeya that was supposed to be raised but wasnt!? What about the last 23 votes difference, whome everyone had their doubts about!? What about the Halliburton incident, or the many KNPC violations!? What about ilbog bilmalayeen?
Wain kan ilqanoon at that time!? Why wasn’t it applied even though the people were out in the streets, in the papers, in the blogosphere all voicing their opinions clearly!? Back in June I felt the government treated Kuwaiti’s as though they were stupid by just ignoring everything assuming we’ll just shut up and sit down. When they disregarded these broken rules, they affected a lot of things. It wasn’t a personal action/reaction. When Mrs Nouriya didn’t wear a headscarf it was a personal actoin/reaction.
If their bratty highnesses cannot control their hormones by seeing a woman’s(who was very modestly dressed)hair, then they have issues to deal with. Their manners also need working on.If that’s how “islamist” parliment members act when a respectable woman was trying to do her job, then they shouldn’t be representing the country in parliment because they were disgraceful! Personal, I, as a Kuwaiti, would rather be represented by Mrs Nooriya than boramya and his friends. Was it really a matter of wearing a headscarf to them or was it because she was a woman. Honestly, I highly doubt that it was because of the so-called meaningless rule. That woman contributed a lot to the country, and like THE[M]CODE said, a personal choice by a person who does their job well shouldn’t be an indication of their capability.
