جريدة القبس يوم السبت الماضي نشرت موضوع مهم و حساس جدا ما أخذ حقه

كنت في نقاش قبل أسبوع مع أحد أصدقائي تخرج من كلية الطب (متفوق) و راح يبدي التخصص فكان نقاشنا على موضوع أي تخصص يختار

هو كان يفكر يتخصص جراحة أعصاب، اللي هي من أصعب التخصصات و أهمها .. فقبل لا يختار قرر أنه يسأل أحد الجراحين المتخصصين في هذا المجال.

صاحبي تناقش مع الدكتور و انتهى النقاش بشعور من الإحباط

أول شي الدكتور قال له أنه أحسن له يتخصص بمجال جراحة التجميل و هو شخصيا متحسف أنه ما سواها … و الأسباب كالتالي -

وجود خمس دكاترة كويتيين فقط في مجال جراحة الأعصاب، و معناته إذا كان في أي حادث لا سمح الله أو حالة حرجة يتوجب على الدكتور التواجد بأسرع وقت في أي مكان .. فالدكاترة مو ملحقين و ما في أي مجال للراحة

كون التخصص حساس جدا و نسبة المخاطرة فيه عالية، المستشفيات الخاصة غير مستعدة أنها تتحمل المخاطرة و الدولة ما تسمح لهذا النوع من الدكاترة أنهم يفتحون عيادتهم الخاصة لندرتهم و أهميتهم … فمستقبلهم المهني كله يكون في وزارة الصحة

كونهم موظفي وزارة الصحة .. معاشهم حكومي و حالهم حال الدكاترة الثانين، يعني 2500 دينار بعد زيادة الكادر الأخيرة. المشكلة تأتي لما نقارن المعاش بالدول الثانية ، المعاش المتوسط للجراحين عموما في الولايات المتحدة هو فوق الـ 300,000 دولار سنويا اللي قدرت ألقاه بالنت و (اللي انقاللي أنهممكن يوصل 1.2 مليون لجراحي الأعصاب) … يعني تقريبا 33,000 دينار شهريا. و لاحظ أن هذا معدل المعاش ، فتخيل الدكتور اللي عنده خبرة طويلة يحصل أكثر بكثير

ليكون مؤهل لإجراء عملية جراحية في المخ ، يحتاج الدكتور ما لا يقل عن 14 سنة دراسية يعني تقريبا العمر يكون 35 لما يبدي حياته المهنية

يعني لما يوصل عمري 35 و أكون متخصص في مجال نادر و حساس جدا و ممكن أنقذ أرواح الناس و أشوف أن معاشي نفس مدير أصغر مني في أي شركة استثمار أو بنك و معاش زملاء الدراسة اللي كانوا معاي برة 10 أضعاف معاشي … أكيد شي محزن و مخجل!!؟

مشكلة ثانية تواجه الدكاترة هي الأجهزة. الدكتور يقول لصديقي عن معاناتهم في محاولاتهم لطلب أي جهاز حديث! ممكن تمر فترة 8 أشهر بدون رد … و بالنهاية يضطر الدكتور أنه يتجه للـ”طرارة” عند شيخ أو ما شابه يتوسطله بتحتريك الطلب!!

أكيد الدكاترة يهاجرون … و بعدين الناس تشتكي من مستوى الطب في الكويت

ما في أي حافز للتفوق

As I mentioned more than once before, I am addicted to YouTube, and this has not changed yet! You get alot of weird videos on YouTube and many of the really funny or good ones are actually posts of things made by other people, such as clips from shows or so on. Very rarely do you watch something and become amazed with the creativity and talent of the person who created the video.

Lasse Gjertsen is the name of the guy behind two of my favorite clips on YouTube. The first one I saw a while back and was really impressed with the idea and most of all with the quality he was able to do the video at.

The latest video he created is just incredible! He posted it on November 7th, and has already been watched more than 1,000,000 times in less than 2 weeks!! I highly recommend you watch it … my favorite so far! He takes the style of the first video to the next level and breaks new boundaries which noone even got close to reaching on YouTube (in terms of non professionals).

Thank god for YouTube and technology! Otherwise, this guy would be an unknown talented artist!

While shaving a couple of days ago, I thought about Hitler’s mustache halfway through taking mine off (everybody does the famous mustache once in a while when shaving even if for a few seconds).

Not only was the man responsible for killing millions of people around the world and causing the biggest war in the world’s history … but he also singlehandedly destroyed the short mustache fashion for life! How annoying must that have been to all the cool hip guys who like to try out new looks and had his style on?!

I don’t recall any other fashion of any style that was also ruined by a single person!
