ثانيا … أنا مو من مدمنين المسلسلات التلفزيونية في رمضان، أفضّل البرامج الكوميدية الخفيفة و بس … أي مسلسل يحتاج متابعة (تاريخي /اجتماعي / دراما) مستحيل أتابعه لأنه يتطلب إلتزام و تضبيط الجدول اليومي

في السنين اللي طافت قلّت الأعمال الكوميدية الجيدة و صار مكانها برامج “طنازة” و “تمسخر” هابطة جدا

الاستثناء الوحيد كان و لا يزال “طاش ما طاش”، قمة الجرأة و الكوميديا الهادفة و مستوى ثابت في القمة … و هالسنة بدعوا الفنانين عبدالله السدحان و عبدالله القصبي بالذات بحلقة إرهاب أكاديمي! والله الواحد قلبه معاهم الله يحفظهم من المتخلفين

U-turn قبل سنتين كان برنامج “يو ترن” أيضا ممتاز جدا

هالسنة في برنامجين غير طاش ما طاش …. الأول برنامج طارق العلي “وسع صدرك” على تلفزيون الكويت بعد الفطور مباشرة و يعاد الساعة 1 صباحا

توقعت البرنامج يكون بسخافة قرقيعان لكن تفاجأت بمستوى البرنامج … أولا طرح مواضيع مهمة و هادفة (التعليم/الصحافة/الإعلام/البورصة) بطريقة خفيفة و ذكية و الأهم من هذا أنهم قدروا يسوون شي حلو و مضحك من غير أي طنازة على شعوب أخرى أو أشكال و ألوان الناس … و طارق العلي و الصيرفي يستاهلون تحية كبيرة

البرناج الثاني هو نجم رمضان … برنامج “جدرنا” على قناة فنون قبل الفطور مباشرة و الساعة 3 صباحا تقريبا

البرنامج عبارة عن برنامج طبخ للعزابية و طوله أقل من 5 دقايق و من الحلقات اللي شفتهم علمونا شلون نسوي - بيض و طماط / روب و خيار / تشيكن نقتس / لبنة و زيتون … و ابداعات عالمية أخرى

As of 12:00 AM Wednesday midnight …. it has been 83 hours since I went and renewed my subscription Sunday morning at 11 AM……. and it still had not been put back!!!!

My subscription with ART was over last week and I needed to renew it, being an Arsenal fan with my schedule revolving around Arsenal games, and ART being the only chanel showing the English Premier League and the Champions League games, having ART sports chanels is a must!

I went to their main office in Thajeej area on Sunday at around 11 AM, and renewed my subscription. I asked the guy how long it takes for the chanels to come back, he said 48 hours, so I asked him again “are you sure?? because there are very important games Tuesday night (thats around 60 hours later), and he said “yes off course, it usually comes back before 48 hours but we say that just in case…..

Yesterday, I rush back come to watch the game at 9:30, it starts at 9:45. I switch to ART sports, and nothing!! I try over and over and switch the system back on and off…..nothing!

I start panicking, I call them, someone answers and I explain the situation, he says “yes its not been sent to you yet”, and explains that its Dubai’s fault and not their fault….so I make up a story of having 10 people over to watch the games and so on….he puts me on hold for 5 mins, says he cant do anything, and that he’s trying to get his boss who’s busy.

Another couple of minutes, he says he’ll call me back in 5 to 10 mins….

I cant risk it and rush to a stupid gahwa to watch the game…which I did, and Arsenal won a great game.

The guy didnt call back 5 to 10 mins later….its 3 PM next day, the guys still didnt call.

The channels are still not on….nobody answers their customer relations line.

…………ART SUCKS!!!

New energy drink that promises energy levels “350% greater than The Bull!” is out, and thats not the real news, the controversy comes from the name used to market it.

The level of energy is too much obviously and could be very dangerous since people use stuff like red bull for parties, which means they’re getting a caffeine rush plus using up alot of energy and getting dehydrated, which could be fatal. So now they’re giving you 350% the rush and marketing it as “the legal alternative”

Look at the way “Cocaine” is written too, its like cocaine was used to make the name too!

The drink has been causing controversy all over the place for very obvious reasons….and you can’t blame people for getting upset! I wouldn’t be happy to see kids and everyone using a term like cocaine in their daily conversations!

I already said before that I am addicted to YouTube, which is still true, but have always wanted to post some sort of video of my own. The four videos I had posted before have been funny things that I have recieved on my phone, nothing original.

So, since I was sick and spent 2 full days in bed, I had to do something, so decided to create some sort of video to post.

I spent exactly 40 mins on this, so don’t expect ANY kind of quality, its just a test to see how things work.

I used two extremely simple programs - Windows Movie Maker & Paint , yes….absolutely nothing fancy, its extremely childish.

I love Weird Al, I remember the first time I saw him was when I saw the movie UHF when it came out in 1989, and it used to be one of my favorite movies as a child, along with Airplane, Naked Gun….you get the idea, thats where my sense of humor came from, why I love “malaaqa”!

Anyway my malaqa is not the issue here….its this video i saw and loved, this goes for all you nerds and geeks with me!

I still crack up whenever I see any video of his! lol! Im sure most of you know him from his classic Michael Jackson parodies (if not, just look up Weird Al and Fat or Eat it). Since Im still in bed sick, I spent the past hour or so seeing his old videos, very funny in a juvenile way!
And I HIGHLY recommend watching UHF for silly and not too complicated laughs, also, its where I first saw Michael Richards (Kramer) acting, before the Seinfeld series started !
