I went to Taal restaurant last weekend with my wife, its the new Indian restaurant in AlBidi3 area (near Thai-Chi and Sarai), the food was really good, especially the grilled section. Anyway, more on that later if I have time, but after the grilled lamb skewers, the beryani, the paneer makhni, the samosas, and the bread….I had that feeling you always get after this kind of meal…
You know the feeling Im talking about? The one where feel bloated, heavy, lightheaded, sleepy, losing some of your senses, and you feel you’re so full that even your ears get blocked! This feeling comes beyond the satisfaction part, bcz u feel satisfied when you taste all the good food and enjoy it, but that feeling im talking about hits you like a sledge hammer about 10 mins after you eat! And what makes it worse is when the waiter comes and asks you if you want to look at the dessert menu…you feel like you want to punch him for disgusting you, if only you had enough energy and concentration to do so after all that food….
Anyway, this got me to thinking….
I have a suggestion for all Indian, Chinese, Persian, and Lebanese restaurants….
After a nice big meal at a restaurant serving one of the previously mentioned cuisines (especially Indian), almost everybody has the same feeling … I would pay good money for someone to roll me back to my car instead of walking all the distance…how cool would it be for a waiter to come and ask if you would like to be wheeled back to your car instead of asking if you want to stuff yourself with more food, and sweets to make things worse!
I suggest a wheelchair service to be used in all heavy duty restaurants to deliver every serious eater back to their car!

You really gotta love Dr. Saleh AlOjairy!! I honestly think that this man has a really great sense of humor!!
Last year, this came out and we really didn’t know what to do with it! Do we believe it or do we laugh with him or at him!?
This time when I saw this peice on page 4 in AlQabas, I thought, this should be interesting….

LOOOOOOL!! I swear if he was a comedian, he would be years beyond everyone else in Kuwait! This is really one of the funniest things I have ever read in a Kuwaiti newspaper!! LOOL!
Dr. AlOjairy is known for his sense of humor btw, so Im not sure if this is an inside joke between him and the other guy, or if its just a prank, either way its hilarious! Paying 500KD or whatever for 1/4th of a page to say that its not fair that this person wants me to pay him 4 KD is excellent!

I always respected him for what he has done in his life with the little resources he had, and now I like him even more for his sense of humor!

هذه نظرة سريعة للأسواق المحلية في المنطقة، الساعة 12:15 حاليا فممكن يتغير كل شي
أتمنى أحد يفسرلي سبب هالإنهيار اليوم!! يعني معقولة من أحداث لبنان السوق الكويتي ينزل أكثر من السوق اللبناني؟؟؟!؟ تقريبا 350 نزول يعني 3.24% مقابل نزول 3.14% في لبنان!! و السعودي تقريبا 8%!!؟

I just got up, slept for 14 hours!!! I feel so refreshed!
This is the first time for a few years that I sleep that much! Used to do this kind of stuff always during college though…

*UPDATE* - Kharafi won, 36 - 28, the stock market went up 20 points after he won, Kharafi stocks all went up.

*UPDATE #2* - Market has gone down 120 points since Kharafi won. from +40 to -80!! Its an indication on how the market viewed this result! AlBusairi wins Vice by a whopping 50 votes to 13 for AlFithala!!

Italy win the World Cup. Definitely not the best team in the tournament, had an easy route to final, beating the might Australians 1-0 with a very dodge penalty in the last minute of te game, and then first timers Ukraine to reach the semi. They met a decent team there in Germany and played a decent last 2 mins to win (thats just me being biased).
Italy finally won a penalty shootout. France did well and were the better team for most of the game, Italy only had 3 shots on goal all game, France more than 10. But then came Zidane…
Playing his last game, he definitely will never be forgotten for the way he ended his football career!
Niiiice!
Oh well ….. Materazzi mustve said something really bad to deserve that hit! I hate that player more than any other Italian, always have hated him for his cheating.
I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw that, its like something out of Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter! I doubt it cost the French the game, with only 7 mins remaining, and penalties are just luck, although I must admit all the Italian penalty kicks were perfectly placed!
Ok, now for a few weeks of emptiness….
I need something to make up for the loss of football after his wonderful month!
