This is a pictorial of today’s action -
————————————————————————————————-
Beautiful Berlin -

The holy grail!

Ready for action!!

They’re ready too all over the city!

On our way to the stadium, patriotism in all its forms!

The battlefield -

The man mountain sitting (mostly standing) exactly in the seat in front of me!

This is very cool …. you can tell the score and the progress of the game in the next few pictures -

After the Germany - Argentina, my wife and I headed straight to the Sony Center to watch the second game here …. a bit better than the diwaniya I think ;P

The conversation that never happened:
”
Hey K, how would you like to Germany with me and my wife.
Sure, that sounds fun .. count me in.”
Anyway .. Itridoon bil salama (since you already left); and I hope this soccer business ends soon so I can finally get coffee at 5pm on fridays. If you manage to find a Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, pick me up one.

Thanks everyone…
As to how I got the tickets, I applied for them months ago, and lost every round of ticket raffle until the quarter final, and I was told my application went through and that i won 2 tickets for the quarter final only 4 days in advance! I wouldnt have gone if it was any of the other 3 games, but Germany - Argentina!! And in Berlin (my first time in Germany but hopefully not my last to this beautiful city)! And Yazeed, how much, I got the category 3 tickets, 83 euros each, which is a bargain for the seats we got as u see! Row 20!!
More pics to come today hopefully!

Q,
I registered through the site right after the draw, but the scholarship came up and i knew i wouldnt make it so i withdrew it. The ticket prices are really cheap if u buy them officially. Much cheaper than some Premiership tickets. see u in 2010
