Mabrook 3alaikum il waqi3iyya and tamshiyat il masali7 malatkum. 500-1000 KWD per vote.
Now you have a bought MP who will support their pay masters who gave them the cash to buy us off.
Better get your old philippina or Goan babysitter; they managed things very well.
No morals, no ethics, no purpose but basic needs; what do you expect to happen!?

So much despair ..
Reading your post made me feel more depressed than I already am. The thing is, I am as helpless as you are - as we all are - in this case.
Chin up, darling. I’m sure it’ll all go just fine. Wait and see. Patience is a virtue.
(I’m just full of pearls of wisodm today. Thank you for baring with me.)

I’ve lost trust in the Kuwaiti society from the day I stated working in the public sector. Things were obvious actually before that. Just take a walk, a ride through kuwait and you will see what I mean. Or just lets stick to the duwaniyas or our own living rooms.
People are living for the sake of the “image”. Creating false images themselves to create a whole new superficial reflection. Images, Kuwaiti society is built on false images. How you dress, what’s your ride, what mobile you use, what watch you wear, where you live, who you know (of wasta), and who you show your respect in public.
Kuwait suffers from numerous problems. Starting with the corrupted moralities to the twisted ways things are running here. Still, most of the people are well aware of it, and still worshipping this superficial life style.
I know it is ridiculous to hope for a Kuwaiti Utopia, perfection is impossible, especially while each individual is running after his personal gain. Nevertheless, it is of a human nature to desire a better change, in our case, for our country.
So many issues are being exposed lately that put many into a state of shock. Things are uncovered and one scandal after another. After the untrusted media coverage, your “Oil reserves a lie” post was a real knock on the head for me. Its not the devastating struggle on the rule, but this is all what this country is holding on to!! Our own lives are depending on this one handed business and the security given by the government and media is a lie?!?! In stead of building a more wise budget they are willing to waste more??! Does the parliament know about this? What more lies are to be uncovered?
Note:
I couldn’t post it earlier.
