Guess what?? Like their campaign says …. u guys are lovin’ it! McDonald’s is the king of fast food!
Shawarma comes 2nd, with Hardeez and Subway following…..
The major surprise here to me is KFC with ZERO votes!! This is the restaurant that spends more on advertising in Kuwait than any of the others mentioned! Supposedly it is also one of the best performing restaurants here, but I guess the bloggers disagree …..
What is your favorite fast food restaurant in Kuwait?

Oh behalf of McDonalds I would like to accept this award and thank you all for voting for us. Keep lovin’ it.

I don’t think you should be surprised about KFC getting 0 votes. This poll was for peoples FAVORITE fast food place. Although many people eat at KFC its not most peoples favorite place since in the end they only serve chicken and if you were stuck on an island and had to choose only 1 fastfood place to go with u then you wouldnt choose KFC.
The shawerma thing I think ruined the voting thing. You were comparing restaurants to a food. You should have chosen 1 popular shawerma place and had it on the list instead of having All the shawerma places represented by 1.
The biggest surprise should be Hardees and Burger King. I would expect more then 15 votes for hardees since they have a huge variety of meals and are really loved here in Kuwait since its also one of the oldest franchises.
I would also expect more votes for BK since in the end its McDonalds main competitor and if its that far behind in the votes then it really shouldn’t be counted as competiton.

No mention of Hungry Bunny? Isn’t there one in Hawally or somewhere now? I passed by it but never had the urge to go there. Somebody go there and post a review.

The Hungry Bunny on the 4th ring road is NOT the original Hungry Bunny. If you notice closely you will find the word WORLD next to it.
If you do miss Hungry Bunny though go here http://hungry-bunny.com/
its the same original franchise but in Saudi.

Purg, I didnt really think of that, but ur right, I bet u their sales are down these days bcz of the bird flu thing!
Mark, lol, congratulations to u and all McDonalds fans, u should start a fan club (I havent to been in a McD’s in so many years!) Regarding KFC, I agree I didnt expect it to be as popular as McDs but not a single vote is still a big surprise! And the shawarma places, I couldnt name one place in particular, so any name wouldve gotten very few votes, and shawarma places overall would be considered a competitor to fast food restaurants, except without the franchising and the organization that come with that!
ripped_heart, there is one in Hawalli, but like Mark said, its Hungry Bunny World, and there is one in salmiya mall i think!
tarzan, I think McDs in Kuwait is one of the most successful McDs franchises in the world, correct me if im wrong Mark? I know for a fact that the Starbucks in Kuwait are outperforming any Starbucks world wide, and I think I heard the same about McDs but not sure

Cool, thanks guys, but have any of you actually tried it and is it like the original Hungry Bunny, and why can’t Hungry Bunny release a soundtrack? That Hungry Bunny song was real catchy.

… in contrary to Q’s mini research, KFC outperforms any fast food chain in Kuwait. It also ranks as the best performing KFC in the GCC (as revealed to me by an anonymous Americana competitor
)
McD’s Moscow serves about 40k customers everyday, making it the busiest on the planet
Not sure about Starbucks being the best performing in Kuwait. But again, best performing in terms of what? number of customers served? profitability? no. of locations..?

Honestly, I am not surprised by the poll.
Well.. i am surprised by the numbers!
Let me explain, I like eating from KFC when I am craving for chicken.. mmmmm chicken zinger BUT it’s only chicken.
I don’t see this as a poll for which fast food chain is the best, but which type of food do you prefer. For example, shawerma and subway cannot be compared to burget places and neither can pizza places.
I believe the best poll, is to have a poll on similar places and then finally on type of food.

I know one of the KFC branches in Lebanon was the #3 best seller world wide.
I also heard Hardees was the #1 fast food place in Kuwait.
The Chilis story I also heard it from more then 1 source.
I also know the McDonalds in Lebanon scored a record for the highest amount of sales in 1 week when it first opened. There were really really really really long lines waiting to get into McDonalds. So long that they actually had rails like in Disney Land and Magic Mountain AROUND mcdonalds so people could wait in line to get in.
Drive through the wait was 40 minutes and the line revolved around the area where McDonalds was located.
Really crazy…
