I miss summer!
It used to take me exactly 4 mins to get from my place to the office.
Today it took me 30 mins 
Empty streets in the morning….available parking spots in malls….no waiting time for tables in restaurants….paperwork getting done easily everywhere…..Driving on 4th ring road and getting to Salmiya in less than 10 mins…..
…..summertime, this is one Kuwaiti that misses u!

Hey cuz,
Let me add this horrific comment:
On Sat. 24th Sep. (2 weeks ago), it took me 45 minutes to traverse from the mishref/bayan junction near Gasr Bayan to the bridge going to South Surra (yes. thats probably less than 300 meters).
I cant imagine it still.

اليوم الشباب الكويتي ما يركب إلا سيارة كشغه إنزين شنهو مصير السكراب
أقول لك
كل من هب و دب يروح السكراب و يجمع سيارة بأي كاراج بلإمغرة 50 دينار و يحط له أي رقم و المرور بس يعطي مخافات السرعة و هذي السيارات عمرها ما تسرع لأن ما فيها عزم السرعة و هي بس تؤدي غرض التوصيل حق العمال
يرحم والديكم لاحظوا هالسيارات بالشارع و خاصة شفرات موديل 70 و اللي أطلعت فجأة بالشوارع و إش كثرها
و الله العالم هم يمكن الإخوان اللي في الشمال حيل قاعدين يدشون علينا بعلم و لا بدون علم لأنهم يحبون هالنوعية من
السيارات و اللي جنها مدرعات
إن شاء الله أكون غلطان
و الله يستر

With the way traffic is going (very slowly) I would expect a rise in road rage and perhaps someone should publish something like this in Arabic (Sorry for the foul language though)

It took me 50 minutes to get home from Sha’ab the other morning!!! It usually takes me 15 minutes MAX!! we should all pray for a tsunami, and an earthquake to strike hawalli and industrial shuwaikh (well when no one is there though). That would solve the problem.

I miss summer here
Every street now has a reduced 20mph speed limit because the stupid school year started and every street has a school in it.

I’ll miss summer too, Q, only we have different reasons
There’s no way you can avoid the za7ma.. Just make sure you have good music in your car. It helps.

believe it or not in kuwait we have the best roads but the worst drivers.
I think a lot of major cities in the world face za7ma so its not just Kuwait

Everything in Kuwait centers around Salmiya/Kuwait city .. and people live outwards. They need to shift some of the attention to another area.

I’m a girl who misses kuwait so so so so so much
I was born and raised in kuwait but now I’m in lebanon
but hopefully I’m gonna come back to kuwait { if God wants so}
and I miss al abraj, alsalmiyya, 7awalli park , and al sha3eb
