How many of you saw الرأي المكشوف on AlRai TV last night? It was repeated earlier today afternoon.
If you missed it, it was a discussion between A7mad AlYousif and Abdulla Ma3yoof.
A7mad AlYousif resigned after much popular demand and promised that “قرار الاستقالة لا رجعة فيه”, but lo and behold, he broke his promise and went back! Throughout his days as head of the Kuwait Football Association, he has taken the team from one failure to another!
Abdulla Ma3yoof is an ex-football player who represented Kuwait back in the day. He was also involved with the football association, as ra’ees lajnat altadreeb, but he resigned after the shit performances from our team. He also ran for parliament last term in Kaifan, and lost by something less than 20 votes!!
The show was basically 3abdalla Ma3yoof trying to show how bad A7mad AlYousif was and how everything was his fault and that he should resign too and not come back!
So far so good, right? I hate A7mad AlYousif as much as anyone, and I hope he leaves sports forever! But lets be realistic, he’s not the only person who ruined Kuwaiti sports! Not even close to being so!
Anyway, this is a short clip from what happened at the end of the episode. PLEASE WATCH IT! Absolutely ridiculous and shameful the way they were screaming and swearing at each other at the end!
This is the whole episode if anyone is interested -
First of all, 3abdalla Ma3yoof is the worst person in a debate! The guy lost his temper near the end when A7mad AlYousif said that Ma3yoof took his family for a vacation during the training camp that the team traveled to, and came to the team 9 days late after spending his vacation 3ala 7saab il itti7aad o during his job. He is ra’ees lajnat al tadreeb btw!
A7mad AlYousif was crap too, he avoided answering any questions regarding his change in decision and kept talking like he’s in a bad Kuwaiti drama saying “3indy kil il adilla hnee ib eedy” the whole time without helping his case at all!
But back to Ma3yoof and his temper loss, he said crazy things like “inta shaikh?? inta shaikh balaaash!!” and “inta chathaaaab!!” and “Agool shkint itsawwy biSwaisra (Swiss)??” among other things!
It was just embarassing to see all this!
Anyway, my point is, 3abdalla Ma3yoof is not a politican at all, and he isnt the most popular guy ever, but he still lost by only 15 votes or so! It is a known fact that he is supported by A7mad AlFahad and bros!
This comes from الطليعة newspaper in an interview with him back in March 2005 -
ermmm…..ok…
And this comes from the Saudi AlWatan newspaper back in June 2005 -
This is when Bashar went to kiss A7mad AlYousif if Im not mistaken after scoring. I wonder if he would say the same thing about Msa3ad Nida when he went to kiss Talal AlFahad’s forehead after scoring in this tournament recently?
So anyway, A7mad AlYousif is being used as the scapegoat for everything wrong about Kuwaiti football. The guy is a miserable failure no doubt, but Ahmad AlFahad and Talal AlFahad must be responsible too, if not more so!
So how bad are things between Ahmad AlYousif and The Fahad brothers?? The attack by Ma3yoof comes from higher powers without a doubt, and its hard to think of any power other than A7mad AlFahad! He wanted to add him to his ever increasing collection of members of parliament under his belt! I wont be surprised if wins 2007!
Also, attacking A7mad AlYousif will only add to his popularity for the elections! Just reading through some of the Kuwaiti football sites and hearing how people are calling him a hero is just ridiculous!
……..
Again, our sports are only used as a stepping stone by people who dont give a shit about it anymore! All parties mentioned in this post are trying to benefit themselves only and their political careers!
Look at Ahmad AlFahad….from head of football federation to minister of oil, minister of health, head of asian olympic committee, head of OPEC, and other things……in RECORD speed!

I saw it. What was even funnier was the fact that the host of the program couldn’t keep things in order.

I believe Kuwait should be a communist country. You have people that dont deserve to be in parliment (Dmaytheer, M6air) .. and the real politicians arent winning because they dont give out favors (Rubie, Naibari.(

Q: Ofcourse Sports is a stepping stone. Its one of the few positions in Kuwait where the public actually follows whos the new occupant. Built-in publicity. However, since they screwed it up so bad from not caring about it, its backfiring on them and now its a source of “bad” publicity.
The world never stops bringing itself to equilibrium. soo beautiful.
TK: Arent we already? I thought the government jobs were a disguise for handouts. I could be wrong.

1st of all, we all know that A7mad alyousef is temporarly here so one of Fahad ala7mad (alah yer7oma) sons take (inherit) this position.
A7mad alyousif kept saying I have proves and its all in papers but honestly all he was trying to say is avoiding the questions and talking about another side issues.
A7mad alyousef kept saying that he paid from his own pocket, Thank you sir, you should be ashamed that the Kuwaiti football association can not pay nor afford the money so they have to borrow from you. I will not only blame a7mad alyousef for this because the Kuwaiti Olympic committee is responsible for this mess as well.
I honestly don’t know whats Abdalah ma3yoof up to, whether he is doing this as a show of for 2007 elections or if he really care about the national team.
every time a7mad alyousef refares to himself as a third person, I laugh, he reminds me of Eddie Murphy in “I Spy”

FYI: Ma3youf was back by sheikha amthal al-ahmed during the last elections.

Though not a big fan of his, I feel sorry for Ahmad Alyousef. He’s a scapegoat and ma3yooof is puppet.
I said this to someone when ma3yoof was first hired: This will only work to his advantage, politically. If we qualify for world cup, then ma3yoof is our savior and all kuwait knows him. If we suck, he’ll bash ahmad alyousef, and ma3yoof will be our hero who dared to talk. It works for him (and Alfahad) either way.

TK: not communist - dictatorship like dubai is what I would hope for. Democracy here does not work. Demothra6iya!! Nas tboug o nas titfaraj.
September 29th, 2005 at 8:00 pm
Mishari, I am talking about total communism… where the people dont choose the people in power. Actually, I take that back thats happening now.
Q8Sheikh,
That would be “a better” solution for this region of the world. However, Kuwait has dropped the ball on becoming the de facto force in the gulf. While the other gulf countries are reaching for the sky .. we are bitching about the effects of pokemon on the younger generation.
I would pay to watch a Ramadan show about a Communist Kuwait .. Hayat Al-Fahed standing in line to get toilet paper and soap (whilst crying of course) that would be priceless.

3baid, lol yeah but he seemed to play deaf too so they can continue at some points during the show!
garz, even I’m feeling bad for him, and I hate the guy!
theKuwaiti, lil asaf, as they say in Egypt …. ilgumhoor 3aayiz kida!
sowhat, it was really embarassing! Its like watching too old ladies fighting!
forza, i dont understand either!! And apparently from the interview u find out that when he spends from his own money, its a loan and not really goodwill!
mishari, I liked the idea of equilibrium
In a way it gives my hope!
z thouhgts, lol at the third person thing! Julius Caesar moo A7mad AlYousif! lol!
a3sab and Zaydoun, I didnt know that at all! So does A7mad AlFahad only support 6ab6aba’i in Kaifan??
الحظ الردي, lol eee I read that and couldnt believe it! 3afya 7aflaaaaaaaa!!
I agree about A7mad AlYousif benefiting from the interview! He kept his cool the whole time, and dropped his bomb (which really didnt have much with the issue) right at the end o 3afas mazaaj ma3yoof! o ashwa hem inta sima3t il7achy (يحليلك) ;P
Jandeef, walla they did do a great job in not giving him (or the AlFahad bros) any publicity for the failure! It was AlYousif and AlYousif only!
Like I said before, they want to create a dynasty!
q8sheikh, demothra6iya, I like! Bes walla again I have to say - ilgumhoor 3aayiz kida!
