This is a summary of every Kuwaiti show during Ramadan. Its a simple formula, add the following ingredients to a few old names and ur done! Sooooo easy! But be careful, this post may spoil the ending of every show u see this Ramadan!

also add a couple of sex scandals (couldn’t think of what pics to put). You will get the formula for any Kuwaiti show during Ramadan!
and this year’s special ingredient ……

I hate these shows!

You forgot to include 2 or more brothers fighting over their father/mother’s warth! those keep me glued to the TV man!
September 28th, 2005 at 10:01 am
And you forgot Hayat Al-Fahad crying, and some girl getting slapped or pulled by her hair
And just generally bad acting and awful scripts. Thank God for remote controls and DVDs!!

Zaydoun, I am planning to watch one episode a day from my new series collections that I got from London.. unfortunately, the sitcoms are only 24 episodes, and the HBO specials are even less.. I need someone to help me with my internal programming.. I’m sure as heck not watching that crap on TV

You forgot the historical; the ones done by that Syrian director (inzo or something, I forgot his name) this is the only show I’m planning to watch in Ramadan and I believe he has a series called Babers or something for the season.

mishu, u mean the last pic? I meant terrorism and beards. Thought Bin Laden wouldve been too obvious :/
catch22, whats “ya ba7ar”? a song or the movie bes ya ba7ar?
mishari, eee and the evil looks they give when they’re talkking abuot each other with their wives behind their back! And each wife is trying to push the man further to get his warth!
Zaydoun, 7a66ait wa7da crying o said add old actors, didnt specify ;P I looked for women fighting pics, but all were too kinky

DonMan, 7athreen
kila ma6goog, welcome to my blog! hahahaha, sorry about stealing that idea! ;P And the names!! Shagool 3an the names! lol! Tadry what would be a great name? Kila Ma6googeen! Fits the show’s story im sure!
T69, if this is art, then my shi*t is the monalisa ;P
Ayya, laa the Syrian shows r usually well done, well acted, and have a real story! I was talking about Kuwaiti shows, which all come from the same story generator with the same theme of how bad our society by using a Kuwaiti family as an example! (-_-)…zzZZZzzZ…

Also, the title of this post reminded me of the book “1984″. The “Song generator machine” I forgot what he called it in the book.
Is that where you got it from?

I hate those shows!! I’m thinking about going against my own beliefs and watch an egyptian one this year (raya wa skeena). I never watch egyptian because I hate el alwan el mayta in their camera, and the golden/burgundy living rooms It’s just irritating. A random question to anyone out there. WHERE CAN I FIND “BAS YA BA7AR” OR “ALGHURABA’A - kamel el awsaf musalsal” on video or dvd?

eee Q that is what i meant.. when you read something at 4am its not going to make much sense
Q try to get a show, if you havent already, called Lost (season 1). its 24-25 episodes and each is about 40 minutes long. bear in mind that this series is very and i mean extremelly addictive, i watched all 25 episodes back to back in one sitting without any breaks in the middle of finals week. extremlly addictive, uve been warned. oh and series 2 comes out in december in the USA. i think that Virgin sells it. If not, you might want to get this old* show called “Mind Your Language”
a few other that come to mind:
-Benny Hill (scandalous during ramadan)
-Fraiser (u seem like the kind of person that would watch and comprehend good ol’ doctor Krane
oooh and if you can get your hands on The Phantom of the Opera… absolutely amazing for one of those lazy friday nights…
September 28th, 2005 at 4:36 pm

September 28th, 2005 at 6:45 pm
العزيز كيو: نسيت التكمش والطراقات هاهاهاها!
The Don: I’m doing something similar, I have many DVD movies and TV collections saved for Ramadan - including “Lost” - and as for the last 5-6 days, I’ll watch the special features or dip into my collection!

I wonder if we are such a violent and unhappy people as presented by all the Ramadan serials?
Or are violence and tears used as a subsitute for not being able to show affection or emotions between actors on film? It is acceptable to beat the person and pull the hair but not acceptable to embrace the opposite sex lovingly.
I hear Hayat Al-Fahad is in a interesting musalsal this year
As a side note to all you dear bloggers, why don’t you get together and start a film company to fund some quality productions. Many of you are movie connoiseurs it seems and I am sure you have the knowledge and the means to produce something worthwhile
