Today driving on Fahaheel expressway, I passed by 4th ring road, and for some reason the image of the old white and blue house that stood there for many years came to mind!!
I wish I have a picture of it, but I dont. Remember that house? The Haunted House! Sooo many stories came to mind when I remembered it! The guy who went there and slept in one floor and woke up in another, or the burning rugs, or the glass shattering, or many more stories that I cant recall at the moment!
hmmm….I dont know why I remembered it! When the hell did they bring it down? And is the new building there (and a new mosque) considered haunted too?? hmm!
That was our little house of horrors during our childhood, is there something similar nowadays for the new generation?

Oh I remember that house! I remember all sort of stories…one of the stories I recall is the house was intended for the owners son to live in but he got into a car accident and died so the father didn’t want anyone to touch the house…and since then all sort of spirits (yananwa) lives there…man I used to believe those stories…I even remember once AlQabas or AlWatan had a story on that house! Creepy…I have the music of the twilight zone in my head….

Not haunted, all those stories were made up, the truth is known to a few, ask around and you will find out, it is not hard.

This is one of the houses/buildings i wish they never demolished. i think we all know the different stories it holds… but someone recently told me a different story about the place… told me the wildest parties used to take place there…not the proper type of parties though.. apparently if you go to the bakkalah close to it the guy over there can tell u its nothing close to being haunted…
i used to believe its a ghost house and the several stories you hear about what happened there…including with the iraqi troops… u really end up believing it IS a haunted house
U have to admit though…it was a pretty house in a nice location

some facts and myths of the haunted house:
the mosque was built next to it.
Allah Akbar was written on the was suddenly one day at a place very hard to reach
all lights in the house are turned on one night
the house was painted white and blue over-night
the house was demplished over-night, go ask the store keeper (bakallah owner) opposite the house, he will tell you more
Hemmm, a good idea for a story

I remember that house very good. I was in it once! Yes I was. My friends and I, who at the time were very very naughty, decided we want to go in. We headed there excited and freaked out at the same time. One of the guys gave a 20 KD to the Indian Guard of the house and he gave us a little secret private tour. There was nothing unusual about the house but it was a little creepy. Maybe because we’ve been hearing all of those stories. Hmm a lot of people didn’t know that the house had a guard, so whenever they saw a light or saw him at night thought of evil spirits.

The most logical story I heard about the house that the owner died and left the property to his inhabitants who had disputes over the inheritance; some wanted to sell and others wanted to wait, and the haunted stories were just a way to drive the potential buyers away.
I remember reading about it one night before going to sleep in a local newspaper and my cousin was with me. I never believed in yananwa even when I was a little kid, and I kept telling my cousin that this is all BS. When I slept that night I experienced my first “yathoom”; I had a dream of yananwa coming from that house pressing my chest and demanding a belief and they did not go away until I declared my belief. It scared the S out of me; I still occasionally have yathooms, not as often though. But I still don’t believe in that crap. It was only my mind playing a trick on me especially because of my cousin’s insistence on the stories.. But I tell you; I am glad that the house was demolished

one ghost story i heard was
three guys went to the house , they jumped the wall , first guy saw a button for a bell , so he rang it , they entered and didn’t find anything , the second guy slamed the door on the way out ( inner house door ) the third guy heard a car outside before they jumped
and till this day , the first guy hear bells everyday
the second guy always have doors slaming in his house , even when he removed all doors he still heard them slamming , and the third guy always hear cars racing outside his house

Hi there Blogger, I am out searching for the latest information on ghost hunter picture and found your site. Although Kuwait’s Haunted House … wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, it certainly got my attention and interest. I see now why I found your page when I was looking for ghost hunter picture related information, and I’m glad I stopped by even though this isn’t a perfect match. Great post, thanks for the read!

I distinctly remember that house… And I still think it was haunted…My father was once crossing the road in front of it and his car stopped… Just like that.. with absolutely nothing to explain it… and a 6 foot long table being carried in a truck in front of his car came down sliding .. He escaped unhurt.. But we still wonder…
