I haven’t been posting at all, I have been very busy lately! My last post was about the MAJOR CHANGE that has just happened in my professional career. In other words, I quit!
Now I will be entering a totally new venture and a huge challenge! So thats part of the reason that I haven’t been posting, been working on a couple of things plus was relaxing a bit.
Anyway, before I officially start my new ‘job’, I will be going on a small trip, this is a mini pictorial of my upcoming trip -

Today driving on Fahaheel expressway, I passed by 4th ring road, and for some reason the image of the old white and blue house that stood there for many years came to mind!!
I wish I have a picture of it, but I dont. Remember that house? The Haunted House! Sooo many stories came to mind when I remembered it! The guy who went there and slept in one floor and woke up in another, or the burning rugs, or the glass shattering, or many more stories that I cant recall at the moment!
hmmm….I dont know why I remembered it! When the hell did they bring it down? And is the new building there (and a new mosque) considered haunted too?? hmm!
That was our little house of horrors during our childhood, is there something similar nowadays for the new generation?

Yesterday was a great day for Kuwaiti women! Whatever deal the government cut, it was worth it! Any deal’s effect will last for what? 5 yrs? 10 yrs? This is forever!
First, let us look at the results of the voting

I can’t go on without saying that Kharafi proved that he is absolutely spineless, and is a total hypocrate! On an interview with BBC on the radio I heard on my way to work he said that he abstained bcz as ra’ees majlis ilumma, he didnt want to take sides?! WTF?!? All of a sudden voting here is taking sides?? Why the fuck did you bother vote on anything before that then?! Unbelievable coward!
I hope he gets what he deserves next elections for head of parliament!
And of course, AlM6air proved yet again that he is a total disappointment! If he even thinks about running for parliament again, he’s stupid! Other than the fact the he lost more than 50% of ppl who voted for him for “tajdeed”, he will also lose the other 25% who helped him last time who will be helping Marzouq AlGhanim next elections in Tha7ya.
Awwad Barad, THANK YOU! He knows that he killed his political career with that vote, but did it anyway, I hope he is remembered for that by everyone, not only the Islamists who will work on destroying him from now on!
Ahmad AlSadoun, also thank you! Has he realized what his relationship with Msallam AlBarrak has done to him politically and decided to change it? After what looked like he was pissing all over his history, he seems to have gotten over the ra’aasa rage and started to focus! Good to have the old Ahmad AlSa3doun back!
Also, thanks to Sabah AlAhmad for getting this going! If he does nothing else in his life, he will always be remembered as the person who’s government pushed for women’s rights and was able to create history!
I hope everyone who was against remembers this -

For all you women, mabrook your freedom, o for everyone, mabrook we got our country going forward for once! How long has it been?

Continuing the comedy mood, after the few but funny contributions on this previous post, I decided to post some funny stuff from my favorite comedian, Steven Wright! His comedy is not ur usual stuff, its very weird and smart. Its the kind of thing where you would hear the crowd laugh 10 seconds after hearing the joke!

I was in the grocery store. I saw a sign that said “pet supplies.” So I did. Then I went outside and saw a sign that said “compact cars.”
A lot of people are afraid of heights. Not me, I’m afraid of widths.
Curiosity killed the cat, but for a while I was a suspect.
I have a microwave fireplace in my house. The other night I laid down in front of the fire for the evening in two minutes.
I like to reminisce with people I don’t know.
I love to go shopping. I love to freak out salespeople. They ask me if they can help me, and I say, “Have you got anything I’d like?” Then they ask me what size I need, and I say, “Extra medium.”
I spilled some spot remover on my dog. Now he’s gone.
I saw a subliminal advertising executive, but only for a second.
I was at this restaurant. The sign said “Breakfast Anytime.” So I ordered French Toast in the Renaissance.
I went to a general store but they wouldn’t let me buy anything specific.
I’ve been doing a lot of abstract painting lately, extremely abstract. No brush, no paint, no canvas, I just think about it.
If you are in a spaceship that is traveling at the speed of light, and you turn on the headlights, does anything happen?
If you saw a heat wave, would you wave back?
Last week the candle factory burned down. Everyone just stood around and sang Happy Birthday.
On the other hand, you have different fingers.
Sponges grow in the ocean. That just kills me. I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be if that didn’t happen.
The other day I… uh, no, that wasn’t me.
When I get real bored, I like to drive downtown and get a great parking spot, then sit in my car and count how many people ask me if I’m leaving.
When I turned two I was really anxious, because I’d doubled my age in a year. I thought, if this keeps up, by the time I’m six I’ll be ninety.
Why don’t they make the whole plane out of that black box stuff.
Why is the alphabet in that order? Is it because of that song? The guy who wrote that song wrote everything.
Last year I went fishing with Salvador Dali. He was using a dotted line. He caught every other fish.
———————————————————————————————
Obviously, hearing this stuff coming straight from him makes it 100 times funnier. He basically has a very low tone which is monotone throughout the show!
Hope you enjoy this!

About the pictures in the last post, BoMaryoom got it before anyone else!
Its the piece of land exactly on the intersection of Fahaheel and 6th ring road, and I pass by that spot everyday on my way to work, and have always wanted to take pictures of it! I think its absolutely beautiful, o a7la shay feeh inna its all natural in the middle of two of the busiest highways!
Best thing is when u see all kinds of birds there, its like watching the discovery chanel but live!
Anyway, I just thought this is a hidden secret that should be seen!

I dont care about anyone who doesnt like football or doesnt like to discuss football….its my blog and I WANT TO TALK FOOTBALL right now!!!
This is very big! I cant not talk about it….
Arsenal just played their last game at Highbury stadium in their famous red and white! And what a farewell! It was a fairytale ending in every sense!
First of all, Arsenal beat Everton (4th place) 7-0!!!! Yes, this is not a typo, it actually did end 7-0!
This was the best game I have seen Arsenal ever play as a team! They were out to prove something, and they absolutely did! To the point where the commentator said “They could be called the globetrotters of football!”
It was the highest scoring game for Arsenal under the great coach, Arsene Wenger.
Also, Edu, who is leaving Arsenal after this season was given a penalty kick by his teammates as a farewell gift, and when he scored it was great, and he was very close to crying! The crowd was great, and he is a gentlemen who is always classy and saluted the crowd for their support for him throughout his time at Arsenal where he turned from an unknown to a World Cup winner and a regular for Brazil.
More importantly, Dennis Bergkamp assisted in the 3 goals and scored 1 goal. The crowds were singing his name for the last 15 mins nonstop!! At 36 years old, 10 of which he spent at Arsenal, being the best Arsenal player of all time and voted the best foreign player to ever play in England, Bergkamp said that this may be his last game if his contract situation isnt resolved. He proved that he is still a master in the art of football! I hope he stays for one more year, so did everyone else in the stadium today!!
The best hollywood scriptwriters couldnt have come up with a better fairytale ending! I am one of the lucky people who have had the honor to watch the red and white Arsenal at Highbury many times!
(To the tune of the Christmas carol Winter Wonderland)
“There’s only oooooooooone Dennis Bergkamp….
ooooooooooooooone Dennis Bergkamp…..
Walking along……singing this song….
Walking in a Bergkamp Wonderland…..!”
“We Want Dennis Bergkamp….We Want Dennis Bergkamp….”
“One more year! One more year!”
