I like this tree!
I criticize alot of things about this country, but to be honest, the baladiya has done a really good job in the past few years when it comes to making Kuwait greener! Thats the comment you hear most from people who have been in Kuwait a long time before and recently came back!

i always tell my american friends about kuwait, and my favorite thing to tell is that kuwait is actually green and your typical “desert”..

Very true Q… people who left Kuwait before the invasion, for example, always remark on how green the city has become now.
Now if only we had more REAL trees instead of the ugly Vegas electric ones! Damn I hate those!!

Finally somebody is thinking a little bit creatively.
Don’t mean to sound negative or cynical, but I think this tree is in front of Seif Palace or the new palace complex next to it.
My question to those of you in Kuwait now: are there more trees like that one in other places?

Take 80 north towards Jahra, then take 90 not towards Sabbiya and bubiyan but the other direction (not sure of the name). Amazing how green Jahra is!! It’s surrounded with trees beautiful scene seriously.
