In a surprise move, Ahmed AlSadoun anounced his position today in the parliament session, he is voting….
…..FOR women’s right!
I think this is a big, couragous, long-awaited step from a man with a great histroy. He seems to have pissed all over his history in recent years, but hopefully this is a return to common sense for him.
كفو يا بوعبدالعزيز
1 down….2 to go!! And unfortunately, it has to be 2 from the 3 remaining people the previous post!

Hi Q, I read your blog often and finally decided to post a comment. I was at the demonstration today, I don’t know what the results were but I can tell you that Al-Kharafi kicked us out of il majlis and alot of women were extremely pissed off.

zaydoun, thats one of the puppeteers!
bader, like dyxio said, in the jalsa (from what i heard), basically the 3 highlights were
- alsa3doon anounced he was for woman rights
- alkharafi kicked the jumhoor out for clapping (although he was fine with dayneen clapping in the last grilling!!)
- saba7 al a7mad thanked alsa3doon publicly!
dyxio, welcome to my blog
please comment more often!
First of all, thank you for going to the demonstration!!
Second of all, AlKharafi should be attacked on a daily basis by everyone now! I honestly think he has no choice but to vote FOR woman’s rights! Now that AlSa3doon said it publicly, the pressure on AlKharafi from the public and the government! He definitely doesnt want to lose the government’s love and affection, and seeing that AlSager is now in better terms with Saba7 AlA7mad, same with Sa3doon, he cant stay on the other side alone! So now it will be only him, and voting that way will only show that he is doing it for personal gains, and it will burn him politically! On the other hand, if there is a last minute decision to go FOR woman’s rights, he will be a hero! Thats just my opinion!

you saw how Saba7 Al-A7mad milked that to the extreme….and put all the pressure on Al-Kherafi who seems like the odd man out now.
