BuRamia and his Islamists group, plus people like AlKhraafi, AlSa3doon, and AlMu6air all think that Kuwaiti women shouldnt have the right to vote.
So, Kuwaiti women still don’t deserve that right according to them….
Lets take a look at women around the world compared to our Kuwaiti women. I only picked countries that are in someway comparable to Kuwait.

Women in Kuwait do not yet have the right to vote or to stand for election.
————————————————————————-
Remember……the people who will prevent you from your rights think that you dont deserve them while the rest of the world agrees that there is no difference between men and women in voting.
Women have been given their rights more than a century ago in certain places around in the world. We’re in 2005 and we still have people fighting to prevent giving women the vote.

Shurouq.. if you have ads from 1969 on your PC, then your PC qualifies as an antique
It amazes me how our MPs insist they are right while the whole world is wrong!

Q
Does anyone know of any other country that fits this list? I don’t
It would have been much easier for you to do the opposite by listing the countries which do not support women’s political rights

This is a bit off topic but I’ve been thinking about it today. When I was in college I used to think that the univesity is the mirror of the community its in. So basically Parliment’s elections results should be reflected on the student union’s elections of KU & vise-versa. But hold on, this isn’t possible since -unlike female students- Kuwaiti women aren’t allowed to vote in the parliment elections. Soooo… when thinking of this theory, we may assume that by granting Kuwaiti women their political rights only then we’ll have a match or a true reflection (between the student union & the parliment). Looking at the student union elections we have the Islamists controlling the union for more than 25 years now. So the question is, will it be the same in the Kuwaiti parliment?? Will the majority of Kuwaiti women vote for Islamists keeping in mind that they are the ones who stood against her rights & they’re the ones who said she (the woman) isn’t qualified to vote/run in the elections!!!
This is a msg to all the women who are reading this.. When you get your political rights (inshallah) remember who supported you in this and those stood against you.

ayya, ur right, but I just thought this would be a much stronger message!
truefaith, we want u to vote too! We really do!! All the liberals are with you, the Islamists are the ones who are trying to prevent u from that unfortunately :/
Boghazi, ur very right! Getting women’s rights will only make the Islamists stronger, that is a fact! But even knowing that, us liberals are still trying our best to pass this because it is the right thing to do….I just hope they can see whats going on!
