Someone called me earlier this morning and told me to check out this pic from AlWatan, I did, and I smiled, and now I have posted….
How wonderful is it to see the other side of Kuwaiti women’s personalities and capabilities? We have very capable women in this country, lil asaf most of what we see around us are either kids acting like kids, mothers looking and acting like kids, ’society’ ladies who love their pictures in the media, or ditzy makeup filled women who are desperate to get married on tv dramas.
These are the real soldiers, the women who work hard everyday building the country in fields like teaching, medicine, finance, and now ministry of interior, and many more fields. I would love if this kind of image replaces the stereotype of Kuwaiti women.
Anyway, the point is, ya36eehum alf 3afya o hope to see more!

Now that’s strange! I don’t recall reading/hearing anything of this lately. If the MOI have been recruiting women, why haven’t we seen any job vacancy announcements, and whats they’re the criteria for selection?
Other than that, the woman standing on the left has a “I’m gonna kick some butts” looks on her face. Rock on policewomen

Q I love the picture and I’m so happy to know that women are finally getting recognized in different type of jobs…Kuwaiti women have a lot to offer if we only get the chance to prove ourselves. The picture of the policewoman with the dog…she really gives out the vibe don’t mess with me! hahahahaha…Kick ass women are here so watch out!

bo_ghazi they did get some women , they don’t need to have an announcment , they send to the civil service commision telling them they want 20 women ( for example ) with a degree or without ( whatever they want ) and they have intreview , take what suit them and employe them

forzaq8, What I understand is that those women are police officers (I think) & for someone to join the police, he should go through some training course in Saad AlAbdullah academy. & I remember the adds the MOI puts in the newspapers announcing that they’re opening for students who wanna join the police force or something. This is what I meant, & I don’t recall seeing any of it on local newspapers.

Lol Purgatory
Imghabberrrr!!
Kuwaiti women have not been hesitant to take on “butch” jobs.
Remember Sara Akbar?
And there is one woman in the Ports (Jamarek) who lifts containers - a first.
And there are women who work in forensic criminology and who also do field work in botany and geology - sacrificing time w their families, working silently and not really appreciated by society - who see them as putting work before family.
Here’s a salute to all those women who juggle families and profession and dedication to this country.
