I’m so emotional right now, I just can’t help it…I cried looking at these pictures…it was a flash back to the Iraqi invasion…it looks like a war zone…I hate being away from home…I know inshallah everything will be ok but I can’t help it but to feel homesick…
I keep saying it over and over in many blogs and I will say it again…
3asa allah ye7afethkom we7afeth AlKuwait min kil shar inshallah….Please stay safe everyone.
mosan: I did smile with tears in my eyes on the graffiti picture too…it looks like something you would see in a movie!
mosan, I couldnt resist a smile too when i saw that! I guess the terrorists decided to take shelter in da hood!
Jelly Belly, things are a mess right now thats true, but one thing that should hopefully comfort u is that so far none of teh action has been initiated by the Islamists. It has all been raids by the police in all four occasions! So at least they’re getting their act together and they have the upper hand, its a show of force and its an action, not a reaction. Inshalla its a start of a change in government views of many things too! So there might be some good out of this too, keep ur hopes up
All kidding aside, looking at these pictures makes u wonder how we got to this state?
How did it start? What will it lead to? Many more questions r left unanswered….these pictures are just slices of Kuwait’s modern dark history to be passed on for future generations to hopefully learn from them.
WHAT!!!! REMIND YOU IN THE FUTURE!!
Now thats a good one Q, tell me whats things do we have in Kuwait that reminds you of the Iraqi invasion & all the Kuwaiti Martyrs that have died for their country?? Here let me help you, well… other that Fahad AlA7mad’s car with his hand coming out… NOTHING!!!!
baba the government doesn’t want ppl to remember any of those things, & i’m pretty damn sure there will be NOTHING… absolutely NOTHING for us & the generation coming after us to remember.
Shit I studies in a government high school & if I wasn’t mistaken, the only thing that was written about the invasion in our history books was only one lousy page (1 page only)!! So forget about remembering those people who died fighting those fu%*ing terrorists!
these pictures.. are so aching. i do not think they should have been that public,
i detest kuwaitis around this area who exposed their kids to such a view, those images are ever lasting.. why let kids parade in them and play with the bullets.
ah ya kuwait min elgalb.. lgalbich ya kuwait, inshlla tzol 3inich hal ‘3amama.

I love that 2Pac and Ja Rule one too. I remeber seeing in the Watan and wanting to scan it for my blog.
Now I got this soundtrack of gangster rap in my head when I think about the cops busting down on the terrorists.
Actually that would be cool, when they are about to attack have some theme song playing.
What song should the cops have as their theme song?

Yes he is. He used to work in a gas station in Kaifan, but they’ve transferred him to another one in Jeleeb AlShoyoukh.
