Some of you may have seen issues of Kuwait Life magazine around. If you haven’t, check it out, its actually a very well done magazine. Anyway, I saw the latest issue, and there is this survey, basically about everything in Kuwait! I figured, let me use this in my blog, and I will send the results to a friend of mine who works at the magazine. It would be really nice to get an honest view from everyone about this, the results will be published in December, anway, here it goes. bughazi, tadry whats the funniest thing i ever read regarding this ass-kissing issue??
I was going to do a post about it but since u mentioned the subject, listen to this nice story….
Once upon a time, there was a wazeer i3laam with the name of Dr. Sa3ad bin 6ifla, who is a very well spoken, very educated person. In the majlis, there is a creature called 6ab6aba’i, that thrives on takhalluf and darkness in the country. Anyway, Tabtaba’i prepared and submitted a bunch of questions to the wazeer questioning important issues such as 7aflaat, music, and so on. Tabtaba’i kept talking in newspapers and so on about how the ministry is corrupt and they are corrupting the country and so on.
In our gloriuos parliament, questions take months to reach the point where they are discussed. So, time goes by, and the questions finally come up in discussion. BUT……at the same time, by that time, the minister resigned, and was replaced by Ahmad Al-Fahad.
When the questions came up, and Tabtaba’i was told that it is time for his questions that were directed to the minister of i3lam. What was his response????
“I withdraw my questions….thank you”
LOL!!!!!! What happened?!? All of a sudden the ministry became pure and Islamic?!?!? A7la shay was that a couple of members of parliament started laughing out loudly at Tabtaba’i!! LOL!!
