So I finally checked out the book fair. To be honest I wasn’t impressed at all. It might not be fair to give a true judgement since I spent less than an hour there, but ill just point out a few quick comments -

Around 40% of all bookstores were Islamic (wild guesstimate)

In today’s AlQabas, there was a report where Kuwaiti students were asked on their thoughts on the US. Very interesting! How different would it have been 5 years ago? 10 years ago? 20 yrs ago?
